Wild Wetzikon AG is a precision grinding shop based in Wetzikon in the canton of Zurich, Switzerland, and has ground parts on a contract basis since 1969. Our core competencies are surface grinding, profile grinding and double-disc grinding, together with the production of barquettes and watch blanks to drawing. Customers from the watch industry, medical technology, mechanical engineering and automotive supply have demanding parts ground here with reliable precision.
As an experienced Swiss precision grinding shop, we run surface and profile grinding on Mägerle machines with workpieces up to 1000 × 500 × 450 mm. For double-disc grinding we use Peter Wolters equipment with workpiece diameters up to 290 mm and heights up to 100 mm. Tolerances in the micron range are achievable, down to ±0.003 mm in double-disc grinding. Ground barquettes in Grade 5 titanium are produced with thickness tolerances down to ±0.005 mm and a parallelism down to 0.003 mm. Non-magnetic materials such as titanium or ceramics are held with vacuum and zero-point clamping so that parts stay distortion-free and reproducible.
Our material range covers stainless steel, hardened and tempered steel, titanium, carbide, ceramics and non-ferrous metals such as brass, nickel silver and aluminium. We grind from a single prototype up to a reproducible series, with no minimum order quantity. Every batch is documented with measurement reports, and on request we supply material certificates and inspection certificates to EN 10204 type 3.1. Quality assurance is aligned with the requirements of ISO 9001, so purchasing and quality teams can trace the values achieved.
